The cereal storage center was built in 2002 and enlarged in 2014 in the Valcani, on an area located just outside the town on the railway line Dudestii Vechi - SannicolauMare.

 

This structure, in compliance with the applicable regulations of the Community, and the application of state of the art technology within the industry, has a total storage capacity of more or less 90,000 tons and is erected, due to the 10 vertical cells, each with a diameter of 17.8 meters and height of 18 meters, and of the two horizontal storage warehouses for cereals, one of them aiming exclusively to store biological freight.
